Quietly situated at the foot of the glorious Three Valleys, the world’s biggest ski area, Brides remains the characterful spa town of yesteryear. Nowadays, the resort is a little-known gateway to the immense ski delights of Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens. As such, it represents an attractive budget base for the more economically minded skier. But the resort itself is below the snow line, so skiers start by taking the main gondola straight up into Méribel.
The town retains its wealth of charming and sedate old French hotels. The main street has a modest quota of shops and cafes, but Bride’s real working life is still wonderfully clear. Eating out is catered for by only a handful of basic restaurants and cafes. Health-seekers can enjoy the treatments of a fully functional spa.

The hotel has beautiful views back down the valley towards Moutier and the slopes of Valmorel and along the valley towards the snow capped mountains of Grand Bec sits Le Verseau. Just a few hundred yards stroll from the centre of town, and a few hundred more to the gondola it is within easy reach of all the main amenities. A free shuttle service is provided every day between the hotel and the gondola, making access to Meribel and the 3 Valleys swift and straightforward. Our comfortable bright and spacious restaurant is open every day, so you can sample the delights of our delicious menus combining French and English. The lounge bar with a log fire, comfortable sofas has a cosy atmosphere. Just a step away is a games room with pool tables, table football, video, board games and internet access. Our hotel bar is the perfect place to relax after a hard day on the mountain. The chilled atmosphere during midweek is nicely complimented by the livelier goings on at the weekend and you can always be assured of a friendly welcome from all our staff.
